Neuquén
This city is of great tourist attraction, is the provincial hub. Its location and facilities make it easy to connect to other destinations (such as crossing to Chile , to continue the journey south of the Patagonia Argentina , or the province of Mendoza (neighbor to the north) and also cross the Black River Valley.
The city of Neuquén is provincial administrative headquarters, has an airport and an extensive bus network.
The prosperity of the province is based on the royalties it receives for exploitation of oil and gas.
A 90 km. Neuquén city in the northwest is the town called Las Lajas, from here you can access 3 destinations: Paleontological Park, Lake Neighborhood National University of Comahue, with 200 acres of paleontological excavations.
On Route 21 Provincial Park is accessed Copahue - Caviahue (1966m), where activities springs. Caviahue is a winter sports center.
South Pehuenia area, the region of the monkey puzzle (Araucaria forest), where the Lake Aluminé. Also summer centers as Pehuenia Villa, Villa Union and Villa Italia.
Along the River Valley alumina sport fishing, kayaking and rafting also.
