Cueva of the Hands

It has an interpretive center and walking trail along the canyon of the river tremendous Paintings, 170 meters deep.
This famous cave hides the best examples of regional rock art.
With paints applied on the rock, there were 829 major ¨ ¨ negative and positive, of which only 36 are left-handed right-handed and the rest. And there are other natural motifs (such as guanacos, frets) and abstract.
These paintings provide valuable information on early settlers, true expressions we are not always able to interpret.
From the Cave of the Hands to Painted Rock, past the big cave, formed an archaeological corridor (parallel to Route 40), and paintings over 10,000 years old. Cultural Heritage of Humanity, by the Committee of Cultural and Natural Heritage of UNESCO, took into account the environment and the natural landscape intact after 10,000 years.
