This morning I consulted about why Miriam sleep in Puerto Natales the last night of your stay in Torres del Paine.
My answer:
Good question Miriam.
And it has a long explanation:From Punta Arenas to Torres del Paine have about 6 hours, if enough ..
But we quiet stopping, taking pictures and chatting. The truth and prefer to sleep in the park.
Torres del Paine is back to Calafate , it's amazing sometimes when you go from El Calafate to the glacier and is clear you can see the Torres del Paine in the background. What happens is they have not done a direct path from Calafate .
You always have to go through Puerto Natales (which incidentally is very nice)Private transfers in Patagonia are expensive because they are long and you need good vehicles that wear out.
So the bus is the best way to get from Torres del Paine to Calafate .But the bus does not come from the Torres del Paine NP , but from Puerto Natales .
Out of 8 in the morning, so you have to sleep the night before in Natales. But you'd have to get up about 3 in the madrugara, to make the transfer from Torres del Paine. to Natales to take the Bus
It is true that these stepped back on track, but it's more comfortable.
