This neighborhood of Buenos Aires is a must for lovers of the good life. First class cuisine, bars for all tastes and the best designer shops in the city. A special place to stay and live.
In the geography of Buenos Aires , Palermo is a world in itself. Everything that you need to have fun when you're traveling, you can find in this charming old neighborhood. Restaurants, cafés and discos, live in the streets with trendy shops and clothing design, without compromising the spirit neighborhood so . Palermo is ideal to stay, you're a safe place with nightlife and calm during the day.
Since the late 90's until now, the neighborhood area known as Palermo Viejo changed his appearance to such an extent that today it is divided in two: Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood. Both are populated by exclusive shops, old houses and recycled a range of bars and restaurants.
Palermo Soho is bordered by the streets Scalabrini Ortiz, Guatemala, Niceto Vega and Godoy Cruz. The two epicenters that concentrate much of the activity are the places Armenia and Cortázar, the latter better known as Placita Serrano. Around them, there are bars for every taste, barbecue, ethnic food restaurants and boutique hotels.
Stores with design objects and clothes international copyright and trademark are another attraction to get lost in the streets of Palermo Soho. There is also a ballroom, called the chip, where you can go to dance tango. As a note of color, suffice to say that Jorge Luis Borges lived as a child in the neighborhood and placed in one of his apples the "mythical foundation of Buenos Aires" .
On the other side of Avenida Juan B. Fair begins Palermo Hollywood, named after the number of producing television in the area. The main street is Honduras, which covers most of the nightclubs, and the cross, from Humboldt to Carranza, are full of upscale restaurants. In Niceto Vega are the records of Palermo, active from Wednesday to Sunday, and on the street there is a market Dorrego antique furniture deserves a quiet traveled.
But the charm of Palermo does not end there. If you go a few blocks from the two centers of attraction pins, you can visit the Zoo and the Botanical Gardens, or stroll along the forests of Palermo, the largest green area of Buenos Aires. In either of its two lakes, the Rose Garden and the Golf, you can bike, jog or simply enjoy the outdoors.

Ushuaia is considered the southernmost city in the world for the Argentines, but not for the Chileans, who consider Puerto Williams (Chilean city) as such.
